Please provide the below information:

When exactly you are getting the error message?

Are you on Windows 10 or 8.1?

If you already installed Win 10 and then getting the driver error, then try to uninstall and reinstall latest available driver from manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

1. Visit the manufacturer’s website.

2. Download the latest driver.

3. Right click on the setup file.

4. Click on properties.

5. Click on compatibility tab.

6. Check the box “Run the program in compatibility mode”

7. Select the previous operating system.

If that doesn’t help please get back with more information.

I see the error in Device Manager in that there is a yellow error flags next to the following:

System Devices

Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework Driver

When I check the device properties and on the general tab I see:

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

And on the Events tab I see:

Device ACPIINT34002&daba3ff&1 requires further installation.

I bought this laptop last fall with W 8.1 preinstalled. I updated to W 10 and everything seems to work fine. Next I performed a clean install of W 10 at which time I get the above error along with.. How to calculate ic50 with graphpad prism 5.

under Other devices

this has a yellow flag - PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller

and below that is Unknown device with a yellow flag. When I try to update this driver it says windows was unable to install and on the properties is states..

I bought a ASUS F550LB and searched also this driver and I found it one the ASUS page :-)

I installed the ASUS DPTF Windows 10 driver today. With this driver my system found the last two missing devices.

Thanks for the information, I did download and save the driver you mention. When I got home today I did a windows update and there was one for the Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework, which took care of both of the issues I had: DPTF and PCI.

I applied a resent Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework update from the MS update site and the issues are gone.

Hi ! Thanks for your post. I tried this driver for my HP laptop and all problems are gone . For HP this driver was made for Windows 8.1 64bit but I had no problem installing it and it seems to work with Windows 10 Pro without any compatibility problems .
