I cannot find this driver anywhere. Only the i-sensys driver seems to be available, not the Laserbase. Can anyone help? (I did have this printer working on Windows 10 before I had to replace the hard disk on my computer. Now I cannot find a driver).

The Laserbase drivers are on the NET John. However they are from 3rd party sites not Canon. If you do use these downloads make sure you scan them for malware first.

Thanks, Davy-Delliott - yes, you're right. Plenty for XP, Vista, and Windows 7 from various sources, but not for Windows 10. I have tried the driver for i-SENSYS MF3220, but it doesn't work. If you have really found a Windows 10 driver for the laserbase MF 3220, I should be oh so pleased to be given a URL for it!

Thanks for all your help, Davy-Delliott. I have tried your three suggestions, but all only go up to Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is nothing for Windows 10. I guess I am stuck with a printer/scanner which is useless for all but photocopying - unless there is a well-hidden driver out there somewhere. There must be hundreds of these devices all destined for the tip. That seems criminal to me.

The drivers for my printer/scanner are Windows 7 drivers. For older models it is quite likely that there are no Windows 10 drivers. Usually they work though. Sometimes right clicking on the driver and selecting compatibility mode is all you need.

Davy-Delliott - I am most grateful for your input here. I have been to Control Panel on my computer, and note that Canon MF3220 appears there only as a scanner. There are Windows 10 drivers for the scanner function of the Laserbase MF 3220 all over the place. So I suspect the issue goes beyond the simple matter of a driver. I have downloaded Windows 7 drivers for the Laserbase MF3220, but cannot get them to generate anything - not surprising, really, as my version of Windows 10 does not seem even to recognise the printer. I am wondering if I have to give up on this one - in which case I shall probably Freecycle the device to someone who is still on Windows 7 or an older version of Windows, and get myself a new straight laser printer. (I already have scanning and photocopying facilities).

Have you looked in Device Manager in Control Panel to see if it recognises a Cannon 3220 printer? There should be an entry under imaging devices for your Canon. Under the Action Tab you can scan for hardware changes. Windows 10 usually 'sees' a connected printer and installs the drivers automatically.

Yes, Canon MF3220 Series is listed there, and driver is up to date. But I think this simply refers to the scanner component, not the printer. I did scan for hardware changes, but nothing additional came up. What Windows 10 has 'seen' is just the scanner, I think. There is still no MF3220 printer showing up in the Control Panel, only an MF3220 scanner. I'm beginning to think this is a lost cause :(
